What ages are your Chatter Boxes suitable for?

Our Chatter Boxes are specifically designed for toddlers aged 12-36 months

What age Chatter Box should I choose for my child?

If you feel your child is developing typically for their age, choose the Chatter Box that corresponds with their age group. If your child is more advanced for their age, select the Chatter Box for the next age group up.

If you find that the Chatter Box isn't quite the right fit, just contact us and we'll happily exchange it for a more suitable one.

How will the subscription work?

Sign up, choose your plan, and a new Chatter Box  arrives at your door every 1, 2 or 3 months depending on the age of your toddler.

What is the cost?

Our Chatter Boxes range from $15 to $35 per month plus shipping. You can subscribe for 6 months, 3 months and in some cases 1 month if you prefer. Regardless of which subscription period you choose, you'll receive over $200 worth of books, toys, activities, (Essentials MAX) RIME guides to guide you through developmental play and a Chatter Chart so you can track your toddlers progress! 

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, once your initial subscription period is completed you will move to a monthly subscription (at the quarterly rate) and you can then unsubscribe at any time. 

Can I swap a box before the end of the Subscription

Yes absolutely. If your toddler has learned all they can from the current Chatter Box you can action a swap anytime by sending us an email to team@123kidstalk.com.

Can I re-subscribe after my initial subscription has ended?

Yes, once your initial subscription period is completed we will send you an email with all of your subscription options. 

What kind of items are in the Chatter Box?

Each Chatter Box has age specific, fun themes and includes a mix of educational books, toys, activities, and RIME guides to guide you through developmental play with tips and ideas. You will also receive a Chatter Chart which you can put up so you and your toddler can chart their progress. All items are carefully selected by experts to support your toddler's development.

How many items are in each Chatter Box?

The contents of the Chatter Box depend largely on the age of your toddler and the changeover cycle.

What are consumables in each Chatter Box?

Consumables are items that do not need to be returned to us when the Chatter Box is changed over. They are items such as balloons, feathers, stickers etc and are identified on the packing slip that comes with each box.

Do you cater to specific developmental needs?

Each Chatter Box targets typical age-appropriate speech, language and social milestones. The books, toys and activity types are informed by our Playgroup Programs team.

Where do you ship to?

We will ship Australia-wide.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs vary based on the type of Chatter Box that you choose and your location. You'll see the calculated shipping fee at checkout once you enter your delivery address.

Does shipping costs include pickup?

When you are ready to return your current Chatter Box we will send you a shipping label for you to use to send the box back to us. The cost of the return shipping will be the same as your delivery cost and will be invoiced separately at the time the label is created.

When will my Chatter Box arrive?

Your first Chatter Box will be shipped within 2 working days of subscription. Typically, shipping times are less than 5 days. You will receive tracking information as soon as we ship. Each subsequent Chatter Box will be shipped on the same day of the cycle. If that scheduled day is a weekend your Chatter Box will be shipped on the Monday following.

Will I be notified of my delivery?

Yes, we will send you an email when we ship and the shipping company will send you a tracking email.

How will I know if everything is in the box?

Each Chatter Box is shipped with a description and pictures of the contents so it is easy for you to make sure that everything is in the box. You can also find a full list of items in the Chatter Box section of our website.

How durable is the shipping box?

Each shipping box is made from cardboard and should be used for the return shipment.

Can I purchase a Chatter box subscription as a gift?

Absolutely! All you need to do it input the shipping address of the gift recipient.

What if an item is damaged or missing?

Every Chatter Box is checked and weighed before being sealed and shipped so it is not possible for an item to be missing. If the box, or an item in the box is damaged when it arrives please contact us immediately and we will provide a replacement.  

What happens if my toddler wants to keep an item from the Chatter Box?

No drama, just let us know and we will add the cost of the item to your next subscription payment. You will be able to notify us and find the cost of each item in the Chatter Box section of our website.
